The Five-Fingered Tree

I would call my tree story the Five-Fingered Tree. My tree story is about a tree that is in Flossmoor, Illinois. I grew up in a home that was a farmhouse, and then the city of Flossmoor kind of grew around it. The original owners planted a lot of fruit trees, and there were three apple trees in the front yard. But our favorite tree, we named the Five-Finger Tree, and it was right in the middle of the yard, and it kind of grew like this. So we were able to climb up into it and five kids would have a seat, so all throughout the years I was growing up, kids would meet in the Five-Finger Tree, and there are lots of stories told and a lot of mischief planned from the Five-Finger Tree.
