Small but Tree-mendous

When I was a young man getting into forestry, a mentor turned me on to the chinkapin oak. When I bought my first house, my family and kids planted one in my backyard in 1995--I still have the picture. It's a prequel story, because this tree will grow to be huge. Maybe in the future, when you see my video, somebody else will be standing in my place and the tree will be a couple hundred years old! Boy, wouldn't that be tree-mendous? But it's tree-mendous because I took the time to plant it in 1995. That's my Tree-mendous Tree Story. What's yours? I dare you to share it too!
