The Wedding Tree

My younger sister recently married her best friend and the love of her life. It was a truly beautiful ceremony and reception! As part of the wedding ceremony, they planted a Spruce tree using jars of dirt they had collected from places that were significant to the both of them. The tree is a beautiful symbol of their two lives joining together to make one and to work to care for something together. They will care for this tree just as they care for each other throughout life. They both love nature and being outdoors, so it was fitting that they chose to include this as part of their ceremony.
